BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: Our Summer Camp Program is affordable, fun, safe, structured, and educational. Staff are trained, experienced, and caring. The goal of all our programs, as outlined in the Formula for Impact, is to help our Members achieve success with three Priority Outcomes: Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, and Good Character & Citizenship.
CAMP INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES OFFERED:
Music/Band, Theater, Video/Filmmaking/Photography, Fine Arts/Crafts, Computers, Math, Science, Technology, Academics, Dance, Weightloss, Swimming, Soccer, Basketball, Football, Baseball, Team Sports, and more.
CAMP LOCATION: On the corner of the intersection of 355/Frederick Road and Middlebrook Road in Germantown, Maryland.
"Community-based and led by professional staff, Clubs serve small towns, large metropolitan areas, public housing communities, and Native populations, as well as those who live on U.S. military installations worldwide."
CAMP FACILITIES: Arts Room, Games Room, Good Character & Citizenship Room, Gymnasium, Health & Wellness Room, Learning Center, Technology Lab, Teen Center, Workout Room, Outdoor Basketball Court, Grass Field, and Playground
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: All Around Summer Camp emphasizing on safety, fun, and focusing on Character & Leadership; Education & Career; Health & Wellness; The Arts; Sports, Fitness, & Recreation; and Technology Education.
CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Junior Leader (Counselor-In-Training/C.I.T.) volunteer opportunities available. Earn Student Service Learning (S.S.L.) Hours.
CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Discount available for additional siblings and/or registering early
YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: -Boys & Girls Clubs provides Before and After School care all year round.
