CAMPER AGES: 14-18
TYPE OF CAMP: Overnight/Sleepaway. Two-week live on campus music program
CAMPER GENDER(S): Coed Campers.
BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: LSA is a two-week live on campus intensive for young musicians in state-of-the-art facilities, with world-renowned artist faculty. Performers and composers study privately, and participate in chamber music, master classes, wind ensemble, orchestra, and modern music groups. Additionally students can take classes in theory and musicianship, conducting, music technology and music entrepreneurship.
CAMP INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES OFFERED:
Music/Band, Musical Theater, and more.
CAMP LOCATION: University of Denver Campus, Denver, CO
CAMP FACILITIES: Students live in the dorms and perform and study in the state-of-the-art Newman Center for the Performing Arts
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Private lessons, master classes, chamber music, orchestra, opera and musical theater, composition, electronic music & music technology, music theory, musician wellness, career development and college prep.
CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Significant Merit and Need-based Scholarships are available.
FAMILY CAMP SESSION(S): Families have many opportunities to watch the student performances.
